David Stowe is an independent researcher and article-based historian who specialises in Fricourt and 10/West Yorkshire Regiment. His articles include – amongst other published and internet work: ‘Rethinking 10/West Yorks at Fricourt’, ‘The Fricourt-Tambour Duclos Sector on the Somme’, and ‘Re-reading Max Plowman and A Subaltern on the Somme’ (forthcoming). He has been a member of the Western Front Association for five years and is a contributor to the WFA’s flagship journal 'Stand To!'.
